A new type of goal which has a counter balance weight to prevent tipping is now on the market.  The company is telling purchasers that these goals do not require anchoring.  THIS IS NOT CORRECT.  These new type goals must still be anchored.  NCYSA has today adopted an Executive Board Decision restating this requirements for clubs as well.  The Laws of the Gane require the goals be anchored.  DO NOT START ANY MATCH WITHOUT THE GOALS BEING ANCHORED.

Dear Assignors:

Referees must check for the new NCYSA Registration Stamp on the Player Passes and One-Time Emergency Rosters.

The new stamp has a NC state outline with "NC Youth Soccer" inside the state

. The old stamp with a big Star logo is no longer valid and rosters/players passes with the old stamp are not valid. NCYSA did this because there were too many old stamps out there with uncertified registrators

This means that especially for Challenge and Classic player passes this new stamp should be validated when looking at the passes.

Pass this along to your referees.

Cheers!

John
